When the computer says "no"

Here's a great IT service from recently launched www.ScooterComputer.co.uk, a team of professionals who will step in and help when your broadband fails to connect, your files fail to back up or your computer simply says "no".

The team works with both Macs and PCs and can also assist with getting to grips with other computer-driven equipment such as iPods, personal organisers and digital cameras.

As well as giving useful advice that may prevent further call-outs, it offers computer lessons for people who want to learn the basics.

The team is on call seven days a week. The service costs 59 for the first hour (including identification of the problem) and 25 for every half-hour thereafter. There is no call-out charge and a rather encouraging no-fix no-fee policy.
